ACA Gold Medal

By decision of the Board of the Armenian Cardiologists Association (ACA), the 'Armenian Cardiologists Association Gold Medal' was established. The medal is awarded to foreign cardiologists who have achieved outstanding accomplishments in global cardiology and have provided exceptional support to Armenian cardiology or to the Armenian Cardiologists Association.

By decision of the Board, the first two Armenian Cardiologists Association Gold Medals were awarded to renowned interventional cardiologists Alec Vahanian (France) and Bagrat Alekyan (Russia). During the 15th Congress of Armenian Cardiologists, ACA President Hamlet Hayrapetyan solemnly presented the Gold Medals to the award recipients.
